SEO Presentation at the Digital Editors Network
By Simon Wharton | February 1, 2008
Earlier this week I had the opportunity to present at the Digital Editors Network in Preston. The turn out of the great and the good from many of the regional papers was rather impressive, including such as the Manchester Evening News and the Liverpool Echo. The second chap on was Mark Comerford who has vast experience of delivering newspaper based websites in Sweden. An engaging speaker with a lot of wisdom. For anyone who was there, here is my Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) presentation. Regrettably, Forest didn’t get Leon Best so my influence theory is shot down. To anyone who was there, you owe me a link from your rather lovely authority sites

Simon, great blog, great to see its doing well. Checked out your SEO presentation some great nuggets there unfortunately I had to use PowerPoint on Windows to view it as my Mac couldn’t read the file
Still, great info,
all the best

great to hear from you again. Not much choice with the powerpoint I’m afraid. Rendering from powerpoint to HTML is pretty messy so without a lot of messing, which we’re a bit too busy to do right now, sticking it up native was the best option.
What’s a Mac?
Cheers
